The Delfi Group was founded in 1992 under the name Delfi Tech Manufacturing Ltd. Launched with the vision of providing European OEMs with both uncompromising quality and competitive prices, it was one of the first organisations of its kind to manufacture electronics in China.

Milestones:

1992
Finn Hartmann Christiansen and Gerd Hartmann Christiansen found Delfi Tech in Hong Kong. Sales office is established in Hamburg.

1996
New factory opened in Shenzhen, China, with a production area of 3,500m2.

1998
Delfi opens customer support office in Sønderborg, Denmark.
First Fuji-Machine for SMD-mounting is installed in Chinese factory.
New automatic test equipment introduced, based on Graphical Programming Language for high accuracy.

1999
Services expand with the signing of our first development contract.

2000
SMD capacity extended with the addition of more Fuji machines.

2001
Acquisition of Danish company, Delfi Electronics A/S, expands production capability in Asia and Europe, and adds new plastic injection production lines to range of services.

2002
Delfi Tech Mfg (HK) achieve ISO 9001:2000 certification from TÜV Rheinland.

2004
Delfi Tech (China) achieve ISO 9001:2000 certification from TÛV Rheinland.

2010
Delfi Electronics secures ISO 9001:2000 certification.

Delfi Group acquires RoseSolutions, extending offering to complete solutions, from initial idea to the final product delivered in a box.

2011
In recognition of its commitment to continuous improvements in quality, Delfi Electronics receives the ISO 14001 environmental certification.
